Joel Carriere has worked in the music industry in some form since he was an alternative rock DJ and assistant manager at Sam The Record Man. Since then, Carriere has become a prominent figure in the Canadian independent music scene as owner of Bedlam Music Management and Dine Alone Records and as a partner in Rock Steady music services. Bedlam Music Management manages Alexisonfire, Black Lungs, City and Colour, The Sheepdogs, The Coppertone, Dinosaur Bones and Moneen. Dine Alone Records boasts a roster including notable artists such as Alexisonfire, City and Colour, Tokyo Police Club, Hot Hot Heat and James Vincent McMorrow.
