Two Bright Lakes is an independent record label from Melbourne Australia. The label was born from a simple manifesto, that stated a commitment to quality over quantity, dedication to artist controlled copyright, transparency in business and the sharing of knowledge and ideas. Two Bright Lakes has grown and developed as a community and a business because we are committed to learning new skills, working hard, to supporting music and art we love and having fun by celebrating what we do with a lot of parties. We have a publishing jv with Gaga Music, this year we starting touring international bands, we curate the music for Sugar Mountain Festival and continue to support and release the music we love. I also manage Melbourne duo Oscar and Martin. They are explosive with creativity, not afraid of exploratory composition yet make music that has pop, hip-hop and future RnB as its outline. Their debut LP For You has led them to play alongside names like Four Tet, Caribou, Coco Rosie, Architecture in Helsinki and Gotye.
