The Adults

After 22 years at the helm of New Zealand’s most loved rock band, Shihad frontman Jon Toogood has built up a treasure trove of musical connections. Lucky for us they have now collided, resulting in one hell of a project.

Street Chant

Arch Hill Recordings

Street Chant have done support slots in NZ for Dead Weather, Black Lips, 3ds, Datsuns, The Fall and played Laneway Festival & Big Day Out. They've played CMJ 2010 and SXSW 2011 and some additional LA, NYC, Washington and Aus shows. Their album "Means" received radio on CMJ network and in NZ/Aus.

Ruby Frost

From the sequins she adores to her heart quenching tunes, Ruby Frost is a pop talent who looks to the likes of Bjork for inspiration. The Kiwi songstress won the Session I Pop Category of the 2010 John Lennon Songwriting comp & is finishing her debut album with US producer Chris Zane (Passion Pit).

The Psychs

Originally from Auckland, NZ, The Psychs are a refreshing blend of Motown, 60’s pop and soul. Taking influence from a wide range of 50’s / 60’s acts including Marc Bolan, The Who, The Sonics, Mary Wells, Marvin Gaye and The Beatles to name but a few.
